There was no break untill noon. Younger girls went for water during the work. Break lasted for one hour until the workers ate their lunch. The lunch was served in the field or beneath the shade of the tree.
Harvesting is one of the most traditional chores in our country, full of laughter , smiles and singing. Men helped women. It lasted whole day until the sunset and if the job was not done, it continued tomorrow.
